SENSORY PROCESSING RESOURCES
Many young children experience sensory processing issues, and it is essential to provide them with strategies and resources early in life to help them manage these problems. Children who have sensory processing challenges often display unhealthy emotional or behavioural problems such as stress, anxiety, and negativity. Addressing these challenges takes time and patience, and requires the collaboration of parents, teachers, and therapists.

Fuzzy Buzzy is another great resource designed to address the needs of children with sensory processing difficulties and developmental delays. It uses a relaxed environment to teach children coping skills in fun and engaging ways. This is a step-by-step guide focused on effective teaching, and includes interactive activities, checklists and sing-along CDs to engage and entertain children while they learn. An extra benefit of this resource is that it not only teaches children to explore sensory experiences and solutions, but also teaches them to share, take turns, listen, and interact with other children.
